Jennifer Cramblett, Meet Nephew Tommy’s “Black Baby Problem” (Video Warning: Offensive Language)

Jennifer Cramblett , the 36-year-old from Uniontown, Ohio, is in a lesbian relationship. This would have been news in a supposedly “Nation Under God” society that once denounced homosexuality. Bringing a baby into a homosexual union would have been news. But in a “Do your thing, baby” America where public schools now indoctrinate children to “alternative family structures”, even this is no longer startling. What, however, is news is Cramblett’a unexpected birth of a mixed-race baby. A product of a botched insemination by Midwest Sperm Bank that mistakenly used African American sperm. Cramblett’s lawsuit against the clinic has exposed the taboo topic of racism as well as the reality of white privilege that Caucasian deny openly but in-secret hold dear. Issues that find themselves even in the LGBT community.
The next time you hear the LGBT community claim that they represent the “new civil rights” centre, remember what you will view below. And the next time you attend a sporting event that opens with the Stars & Stripes and hands over chests as “one”, consider the real life story that imitates the comedic genius displayed by Nephew Tommy. Sometimes life imitates art. For the comedic prophet of prank, Nephew Tommy, the intersection of race and the coming of a newborn baby can make for an explosive situation.
Derrick Clifton aptly writes in Mic, “Dealing with blackness has become burdensome and inconvenient for these two white mothers — because the biracial baby completely upended their decades of enjoying the spoils of white privilege.”

[important]Are we “one”? Are we a “color blind” society? In the age of President Obama, have we truly stepped into a “post racial” America? Has the LGBT inappropriately co-opted a civil rights branding, with hidden racism lerking in its own midst? You make the call… Leave a comment here.[/important]
